This 2-penny Postage Due stamp was issued a week before the country adopted decimal currency, in line with the other South African Protectorates (Basutoland and Bechuanaland).
The Kingdom of Swaziland (now called Eswatini) introduced decimal currency on 14 Feb. 1961. The Queen Elizabeth II 1956 definitive series was withdrawn from use on 13 February 1961, and surcharged in Pretoria by the South African Government Printer.
