Description
This is a fabulous vintage men’s dressing gown or lounging robe featuring an art deco woven pattern consisting of raindrop shapes in red and black against a shiny maroon background colour.The dressing gown has a burgundy faille grosgrain shawl collar, turned faille cuffs, burgundy pocket trim and has a matching patterned sash belt.
It has a jetted chest pocket and jetted pocket at either side.
It is fully lined in a taffeta type fabric.
Age: 1940s, maybe very early 50s

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this dressing gown should fit a man that fits a US size 40-42.
In any case, please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 18” across seam-to-seam
Sleeves: 24 1/2” long
Sleeve Inseam: 18 1/4” long
Chest: 44” around, approximate, depending on overlap
Waist: 45”, but meant to be cinched
Overall length: 41 1/2”, measured flat
Condition: It is in very good condition - the only defect is a small spot on the upper left lapel (see last close-up photo) and maybe a slight bit of other light marking to the lapels, really negligible.
A dry cleaning should make this dressing gown look great.
Otherwise, no pronounced wear or any tear or odour - this is really a stunning dressing gown!
